The Moto Watch 40 is designed for effortless navigation with a responsive LCD touchscreen and a side button for quick access to key features.

Using the Touchscreen

Navigate your watch with simple gestures:

  • Swipe Down → View battery level and access Quick Settings.

  • Swipe Up → Check your notifications.

  • Swipe Left or Right → Explore widgets for:

    • Steps, distance, and calories burned

    • SpO2 (blood oxygen) monitoring

    • Heart rate tracking

    • Sleep data

    • Weather updates

    • Breathing exercises

    • Music controls

    • Main menu

Using the Side Button

The side button provides quick access to essential functions:

  • Long Press (3+ seconds) – When Off → Turns on the watch.

  • Long Press (3+ seconds) – When On → Opens the Power Off prompt.

  • Short Press – When Screen is Off → Wakes up the display.

  • Short Press – During an Activity → Pauses your workout and brings up the activity menu.
