Receiving and Managing Notifications on Your Moto Watch 40

The Moto Watch 40 can receive, display, and clear notifications from your connected phone. Follow these steps to enable and manage notifications on your watch:

Setting Up Notifications

  1. Enable Bluetooth on your connected phone.

  2. Open the Moto Watch Lite app on your phone.

  3. Tap the profile icon in the top left.

  4. Select your paired Moto Watch 40 under My Devices in the side menu.

  5. Tap Phone Permissions in the device menu.

  6. Toggle on the notifications you want to receive on your Moto Watch.

  7. If you haven’t already granted permission for your Moto Watch to access your phone’s notifications, you’ll be prompted to do so now.

Once set up, your Moto Watch will receive notifications from your connected phone seamlessly.

Viewing Notifications

  • When a new notification arrives, your Moto Watch 40 will vibrate and display the notification on the screen for 10 seconds.

  • You can swipe left to right or short press the side button to dismiss the notification. Alternatively, wait for the display to turn off automatically.

  • To view all past notifications, swipe up from the watch face (this is unavailable during an activity).

  • Tapping on a notification will show the full details. Swiping from left to right will take you back to the notification list.

Clearing Notifications

  • Your Moto Watch can store up to 10 recent notifications. Once this limit is exceeded, the oldest notification will be deleted to make room for new ones.

  • To clear a notification, simply tap it and swipe from left to right.

This ensures you stay on top of important alerts, while also allowing easy management of notifications on your Moto Watch 40.
