Switching Google Accounts on Your iOS Device

Switching Google Accounts on Your iOS Device

When setting up Wear OS on your watch for the first time, you'll link it to a Google Account. This Google Account is responsible for receiving notifications, sharing contacts, and syncing apps. However, if you wish to change this Google Account on your iOS device later, you can do so with these simple steps:

Prerequisites:
- Ensure that your watch is connected to your iPhone.

Step 1: Access Advanced Settings in the Wear OS App:
1. On your iPhone, launch the Wear OS app, also known as Wear OS by Google.
2. Scroll down to find and tap "Advanced settings."

Step 2: Manage Your Accounts on the Watch:
1. In the "Advanced settings" section, locate and tap "Accounts on your watch."
2. Here, you can manage your Google accounts.
3. To turn an account on or off or to add a new account, tap the corresponding option.

Your watch will use the Google Account initially set up when you first connected your watch. Notably, you can have multiple Google accounts on both your watch and iPhone.

Additional Tip: Some apps may allow you to change the account used for signing in, offering flexibility in managing your Google Accounts.

By following these steps, you can easily switch between or manage multiple Google Accounts on your iOS device, making it convenient to stay connected with your preferred account.
