If your Moto Watch 40 isn’t receiving notifications, follow these steps to resolve the issue:
1. Ensure Bluetooth is Enabled
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on both on your phone and your Moto Watch 40.
Check that the devices are paired and connected. You can verify this in your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
2. Check Notification Permissions
Open the Moto Watch Lite app on your phone.
Tap the Profile icon in the top-left corner.
Select your Moto Watch 40 under My Devices.
Go to Phone Permissions and make sure notifications are enabled for all relevant apps (messages, calls, etc.).
3. Enable Notifications on Your Phone
Make sure Do Not Disturb mode is off.
Confirm the apps you want notifications from are allowed to send them:
Settings > Notifications, and ensure the desired apps have notifications enabled.
4. Disable Battery Saver Mode
If your phone is in Battery Saver mode, notifications may be restricted.
Turn off Battery Saver to ensure notifications come through.
5. Restart Both Devices
Restart both your phone and your Moto Watch 40 to refresh the connection and clear any temporary issues.
6. Check the Moto Watch Lite App
Make sure the app is up-to-date.
Check for updates in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
7. Reset Notification Settings
If notifications are still not working, try resetting notification settings on your phone.
Unpair and then re-pair your devices to restore the connection.
8. Re-pair Your Moto Watch 40
Go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings, forget the Moto Watch 40, then pair it again through the Moto Watch Lite app.
By following these steps, your Moto Watch 40 should start receiving notifications reliably.
