If you’re experiencing problems with weather data on your Moto Watch 70, follow these steps to fix the issue:

1. Ensure Proper Location Data

Weather accuracy depends on your location settings.

  • Make sure Location Services are enabled on your phone.

  • Confirm that your Moto Watch 70 is synced correctly with your phone’s GPS data.

2. Check for Weather Data Availability

Weather information is provided by OpenWeatherMap, which relies on local weather stations.

  • If you’re in a remote area, data may be limited or unavailable.

  • To confirm, check your phone’s weather through Google Weather or another app and compare.

3. Weather Station Mismatch

If weather updates seem incorrect, your watch may be retrieving data from a nearby weather station rather than your exact location.

  • This can happen if your coordinates are close to a station boundary or your phone’s GPS detects a slightly different position.

4. Check Syncing

If weather data isn’t updating:

  • Resync your Moto Watch 70 with your phone.

  • Make sure both the watch and Moto Watch Lite app are connected to the internet.

5. Update Software

Ensure both your devices are running the latest versions.

  • On the watch: Settings > About > Version

  • On the phone: update the Moto Watch Lite app via your app store.

6. Restart Your Watch

Press and hold the side button for 30 seconds to restart the watch.
Restarting can refresh internal processes and restore weather updates.

7. Contact Support

If weather data remains inaccurate or unavailable after these steps, contact support@motowatch.com and Include your watch serial number and location details to help diagnose the issue.
