If your Moto Watch 70 isn’t powering on, don’t worry—there are several troubleshooting steps you can take to get it working again.
1. Check the Battery Level
A completely drained battery is the most common reason your watch won’t turn on.
Connect your Moto Watch 70 to the included charger and let it charge for at least 30 minutes.
If available, use a fast charger to help speed up the process.
2. Remove the Sticker
Important: Make sure to remove any protective sticker from the back of your watch.
This film can block the charging pins and prevent your watch from charging correctly.
3. Verify the Charging Method
Always use the original charging cable that came with your Moto Watch 70.
Third-party cables or adapters may not provide the correct voltage.
If your watch still doesn’t charge, try:
A different USB port
A different wall adapter
Charging through a computer USB port
4. Check for Charging Indicators
Once connected, look for signs that charging has started—such as a vibration or a charging icon on the display.
If there are no signs, inspect your charging cable or port for possible faults.
5. Perform a Hard Reset
If your watch appears to be charging but still won’t power on:
Press and hold the side button for 30 seconds to force a reset.
This often clears minor software glitches.
Alternatively, navigate to Settings > System > Reset if the watch display turns on.
6. Inspect for Physical Damage
Check the charging pins and back of the watch for dust, dirt, or debris.
Gently clean the area with a dry, soft cloth before reconnecting the charger.
7. Let It Charge Longer
If the battery was completely drained, it may take up to an hour before the watch powers on.
Keep it connected and check again later.
